Choose a model specifically rated for submersion if swimming is the intended use. OpenSwim Pro has an IP68 rating and internal storage, but Bluetooth does not function underwater, so audio must be loaded in advance and played in MP3 mode. OpenRun carries an IP67 rating for sweat, rain and water exposure but is not intended for swimming. An open-ear design can improve awareness, but it does not replace attention to traffic or other safety precautions.
OpenRun and selected Pro models are offered in Standard and Mini sizes with different headband lengths. Follow the Shokz measuring guide because an oversized band may move or contact a collar, while an undersized one may create pressure. Consider how the headphones will fit alongside glasses, a helmet or a swimming cap.
Orders placed through the official US website can be returned free within 45 days of purchase; initial expedited shipping charges are not refunded. New products carry a two-year limited warranty, while refurbished models receive one year. Coverage applies to manufacturing defects and excludes loss, misuse and submersion beyond the product’s stated rating.
