Before creating a shipment, enter the origin and destination, accurate dimensions, weight and contents. The final charge may be based on whichever is greater: the physical or volumetric weight. Volumetric weight depends on the length, width and height of the package, meaning an unnecessarily large box can increase the delivery price. Check the estimated transit time, collection charge, paid packaging, declared value and any remote-area surcharge.
A CDEK promo code may be limited to a particular tariff, route, booking method or customer group. Enter it before paying and confirm that the final total has decreased. Packaging, insurance and other optional services may be excluded from the discount.
Review the prohibited and restricted items before handing over the parcel. Fragile contents should be secured inside suitable protective packaging, and the contents may need to be shown to an employee or courier before the package is sealed. Keep the waybill and tracking number. Collection normally requires accepted identification or an activated CDEK ID; available verification methods depend on the order and destination country.
