Most packages provide mobile data only, although selected plans also include calls and text messages. Choose an eSIM according to its coverage area, data allowance, validity period, supported networks and maximum connection speed. For an unlimited plan, check the fair-use policy, as speeds may be reduced after a specified amount of daily data. Confirm whether tethering, voice calls, SMS and top-ups are supported. The device must support eSIM, be network-unlocked and match a compatible regional model.
Internet access is required for installation. Most packages begin their validity when the installed eSIM first connects to a supported network at the destination, but some activate immediately upon installation; check the Activation Policy before purchasing. After arrival, select the eSIM for mobile data and follow the package instructions for data roaming and APN settings. Disable data roaming on the primary SIM to avoid conventional roaming charges.
