A regional, international or paper ticket or rail pass may require digital check-in, printing, a separate seat reservation or validation before boarding.
Exchange and refund rights follow the purchased fare and group confirmation. Lower fares are often more restrictive, station changes are normally unavailable and a time change can require a fare difference and fee. Do not buy a replacement before support responds if preserving the original ticket value matters.
