Before and after checkout
Delivery and fulfilment
The main driver and any financial guarantor must meet Movida's requirements and attend with original documents. Before leaving, record the body, glass, wheels, interior, fuel and mileage. Return the car at the agreed location and time under the stated fuel policy.
Returns and cancellations
Changing key details of a prepaid booking, including date, time, location or vehicle group, may require cancellation and a new reservation at the current rate. Check the applicable rules and request reversal of the original payment through the correct channel. For monthly rentals, returning before the minimum term can recalculate the stay at regular rates.
Payment options
Movida checks the credit card at pickup and may place a pre-authorisation hold rather than a final charge. The required limit depends on vehicle group, protection and rental total, while the issuing bank controls release timing. Booking prepayment and pickup pre-authorisation are separate transactions.
